Well, I'll tell ya.
This summer was a lovely and life-changing one. In June and July, I performed in productions of Guys and Dolls as Benny Southstreet (pictured) and Twelfth Night as Fabian with the always-lovely Marietta Summer Theatre Fest, and then I returned to Michigan... where I've decided it's time for my next steps.
In a few short weeks, I'll be moving to New York City. I've been dreaming of this since I was five.
As I'm preparing (financially, emotionally, logistically, and in every way according to every other adverb there could possibly be to describe this moment and chapter of transition), I am also touring Southeast Michigan with TYA productions of The Princess & the Pea and Jack & the Beanstalk with Timeless Tales Theatre, working on some illustration and fine arts gigs, and preparing to direct the inaugural production of my recently-founded Pop-Up Shakespeare Project, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
This is, to say the least, a busy and exciting time, and extremely harrowing when adding in the fact that I'm not sure whether to be on Bethenny's or Carole's side right now in The Real Housewives of New York City.
So that, my friends, is a wrap on this quick update.
Wishing you much Love. Much Light. And much Liza with a Z.
